Ross Back Sands is a beautiful coastal site to the north of Bamburgh and Budle Bay and to the south of Holy Island. Like Budle Bay, Ross Back Sands is part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and is a great site to view costal birds.

Snow Buntings can also put in an appearance in the winter and with the benefit of a telescope, Skua’s and Shearwaters can be seen at times passing by.
